stc Bahrain will Bring Bahraini Gamers a New Dimensional Experience with the Launch of stc Play!

• In Partnership with stc Play, stc Bahrain is the first telecom to introduce a dedicated gaming application taking the online gaming experience to another level in Bahrain and the region
• The campaign will kick off in February 2022 with a serie of tournaments in collaboration with gaming giants, starting with PUBG Mobile

Bahrain, 25 January 2022:  stc Bahrain, a world-class digital enabler is the first telecom company to introduce an innovative mobile application “stc Play” for the gaming community in the Kingdom in partnership with stc Play. This step comes in line with the company’s mission to position Bahrain as a gaming hub in the region as well as elevate the gaming ecosystem. stc Play application is free to download and will be available for Android and Apple users.

“PUBG Mobile” will be the first tournament of this season and will start on the 7th of February. Tournament registration will start on the 26th of January, and the finals will be played on the 16th of February.

Commenting on the new stc Play application, Karim Tabbouche, stc chief commercial officer, said: “We are investing in gaming as a growth industry because it is expanding at an exponential rate in the kingdom and across the region as a whole.” He further added: “We are delighted to finally launch the all new stc Play gaming experience. In its first tournament, the “PUBG Mobile” tournament, the win prize pool is USD 20,000. stc Bahrain plans to launch additional tournaments of major games throughout 2022. Taking a multi-faceted approach to building the brand equity for stc Play to serve as the main gaming hub in Bahrain.
