stc Bahrain hires 15 of its jeel ICT graduate into full-time positions
Manama, Bahrain, 27 February 2025 - In line with its commitment to empowering local talent and driving the Kingdom’s digital transformation, stc Bahrain, a digital enabler, has hired 15 graduates from its jeel ICT program into full-time positions within the company. This milestone follows the graduation of 33 trainees and highlights the program’s impact in developing Bahraini professionals and equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in the job market, aligning with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
The jeel ICT program, a flagship initiative of stc Jusoor, the company's CSR arm, equips Bahraini youth with essential ICT skills in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, programming, and Fintech. Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Labour, the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), and the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), the jeel ICT program addresses the growing demand for a skilled digital workforce in Bahrain.

The outstanding graduates have transitioned into full-time roles at stc Bahrain across key departments, including Business, Wholesale, Technology & Digital, Consumer, Finance, Government Affairs, Strategy & Governance, and Human Resources. Their roles within the Business department include Cloud Sales Associate, Sales Operations & Collection Associate, and ICT Presales & Solutions Associate. Within Wholesale, they will work as Settlement Associates. In the Consumer team, roles vary from Retail Sales Associate to Sales Operations & Growth and Demand Planning & Management. The Finance department has welcomed a Financial Performance Associate, while Human Resources has added a Talent Development Associate. Graduates working in Technology & Digital have taken on roles in Data Engineering, Technology Performance, Cybersecurity, and IT Infrastructure. Within Strategy & Governance, the role is Corporate Performance & Program Management, and in Government Affairs, the role is CSR Associate.
